£25k - £32k (Negotiable Subject to Experience)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable UK Insurance firm with very exciting growth plans. They are looking for a motivational Claims Manager with excellent team leadership, claims process management and team development skills. This is fantastic opportunity for an experienced and talented Insurance Claims professional to gain a foothold within a growing organisation and advance in their career.

The successful applicant will have proven claims management experience with demonstrable track record of claims process, team and staff development. In addition, you must be able to improve department procedures and negotiate with underwriters to ensure customer/clients received an outstanding claims service. You will need a firm understanding of General Insurance principles and regulations, and have proven experience dealing with HNW/Private Clients, Personal Lines and Commercial Insurance risks.

Key Role Criteria:

  • Efficiently manage all claims
  • Negotiate with underwriters and deliver outstanding customer/client service
  • Gather and process information to support the effective assessment of more complex cases
  • Assist in the training of new or inexperienced staff in the use of company systems and processes
  • To maintain and develop team and individual staff learning, knowledge and skills through continued professional development as well as on-going training
  • To conduct the business of the Company at all times in a courteous and efficient manner
  • At various times, act for the insured and insurer. Maintaining responsibility for adhering to all the Group\'s procedures and policies in relation to the identification and management of potential conflicts of interest and for the fair treatment of customers
